How far are you willing to go in order to get what you want?
In Macbeth, Macbath is willing to go very far in order to get what he wants the most, which is to be king. He is willing to kill to get it! Macbeth actually killed Duncan his King, and stabbed him in his sleep! The witches told him 3 prophecies, and since 2 of them had come true already, he knew the third would come true eventually. But eventually wasn't soon enough from him and Lady Macbeth. They wanted it now, and nothing caould stand in their way to get what they wanted. I don't think Macbeth should have killed the king, but I guess he had to if he really wanted it that badly...

YOu see this is an example of someone trying to control the future or their destiny. DO you really think it is possible? DO you think M even thought about the possible consequences of his actions?
ReplyDeleteHe is trying to control his future, and I also think that he thought about the consequences, but they were blurred out by Lady Macbeth. They were more sure that they would get away with it.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you, I think that it is wrong that he killed Duncan to become king. I think that if he really thought that the third phroficy will coem true then he should have waited and let it come true on its own time instead of rushing it. He might have thought about the consequences but he kind of just disregarded them because his need for power clouded his judgement.
